REFINING: Púrōsis /pīˈrōsəs/

I integrated lighting and made room for theatrical elements. The dancers took the audience on a journey through their own personal experiences. The ballet turns physical action into narrative action using dynamics and levels. The work deals with storytelling and movement phrases that are pieced together like a puzzle. It depicts a timeline/history of a culture with poetics and timing through language and dance while re-inscribing history within the body.
