"As a dance artist, actor, vocalist, choreographer, and director of the African diaspora, I am interested in the poetics of any art form as a means to tell the story. My life experiences inspire me to create genuine and intentional art that reflects contemporary times while honoring my journey. I draw from the world around me to evolve my artistic voice. I explore larger-than-life, abstract, and expressive concepts to tell stories that take the viewer on a journey. In theory, I create art that extends beyond performativity and lives in the act of the experience within."
